Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. A. Badalova / The International Finance Corporation (IFC) jointly with the Azerbaijani Bank's Training Centre (ABTM) held a workshop for commerce banks on the topic of internal audits and internal control.
Adequate structure for an effective system of internal control, as well as a new bill on internal auditing and audit of risk was discussed at the workshop.
Tomas Meyer, the Program Manager of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, and Javanshir Abdullayev, the Director of the Azerbaijani Bank's Training Centre, attended the opening ceremony of the workshop. Representatives of more than twenty banks participated in the workshop.
