( Worldcarfans ) - 12 years after its market debut, the Peugeot Partner (aka Citroen Berlingo) advances to its next generation model. The new Peugeot Partner will go on sale in the second half of 2008 as the Partner Tepee (passenger version) and the regular Partner LCV. The outgoing model will still be available in certain markets, but will be re-branded to Partner Origin.
The new Partner is 4.38 meters long and can hold up to 3.3 m3 (or 850 kg) of cargo, the load area length is 1.8 meters but can be extended to 3 meters thanks to the new Multi-Flex passenger seat, adding 400 liters of load space.
The Partner Tepee comes with the new Zenith multi-purpose roof providing more light in the passenger compartments, three individual folding rear seats and 308 driving dynamics due to the 308 power train. For those wanting to take the Partner off-road, you will be happy to know that Peugeot will offer a Partner Tepee Outdoor.
