Sava Re Reinsurance Company studies the Azerbaijani insurance market, said the Azerbaijani insurance company Ata Sigorta, which invited a representative of the Slovenian company to the country.
Executive Director of the Eastern European reinsurance company Sinisha Lavrinchevich met with chairman of Ata Sigorta, chairman of the board and director of the general insurance department during his three-day visit.
During the meeting, the sides expressed interest in further cooperation and development between companies in reinsurance, the company said.
Reinsurance Group Sava Re was established in 1977 and its headquarters is located in Ljubljana (Slovenia). In January-June premium of Sava Re reached €60 million and payment amounted to about €50 million. In overseas markets Sava Re is represented by insurance companies Sava Osiguranje (Serbia), Tabak Osiguranje (Macedonia) and Dukagjini Kompania Sigurimeve (Kosovo).
Ata Sigorta insurance under the Ata Holding operates on the market since 2004. Ata Sigorta offers 21 kinds of insurance services, five of which are mandatory. The company's paid authorized capital is 2 million manat.
