Number of members of the Baku Realtors Association has grown from three to 53 from late 2008 to autumn 2009, President of the Association, Vafadar Akhundov said on Oct. 15. "At present, the association members comprise 13 enterprises, and individuals - 40," said Akhundov.
He said the membership fee for enterprises is 300 manat, and individuals - 100 manat.
"Attracting more members to the association is a priority for us," said Akhundov.
President of the Association said that as a result of increasing the number of association members, it will be much more accessible to obtain information about the market which will enable to create the planned electronic database.
The founders of the Baku Realtors Association are the "MBA Group" company, real estate companies "New Europe" and "Baki Emlak". In October 2008 the Association was registered at the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan.
The association aims to define standards for the functioning of real estate activity in Azerbaijan, the establishment of the center of vocational training, as well as the introduction of a system of certification of Realtors.
