CBA's currency reserves increase by 2 percent

In November, the currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan increased by roughly $90 million or 1.7 percent to $5.181.1 million, the CBA reported.

As of Oct. 30, the CBA's currency reserves made up $5.092.9 million

The CBA's currency reserves reduced by 15.6 percent compared to the beginning of the year. On Jan.1 the reserves hit $6,137 million.

The CBA's currency reserves declined by 3.1 percent compared to the index in November 2009. As of Nov. 30, 2008, this figure made up $5.348.6 million

In 2009 the CBA expects to obtain $50 million in revenues from the funds under its management. Over the first half-year the CBA's revenues hit $23 million

The country's strategic reserves exceed $20 billion, including assets of the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) worth $15 billion
