Azerbaijan Railways will restore a 10-kilometer railway bed in Osmanli-Azadkend, the CJSC said today. The railway bed has subsided due to flooding.
A draft on bridge restoration and construction along 15 kilometers of the Osmanli-Azadkend Railway bed is under preparation to eliminate the consequences of floods.
Plans cover constructing concrete pipes, installing rails, sleepers and ballasts, and eliminating a one-sided subsidence running 10 kilometers.
As a result of recent floods, trains moving in the direction of Shirvan-Astara were suspended May 9.
