The currency reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) amounted to $6.057 billion in late third quarter. The figure is more by 895.9 million or 19 percent compared to early 2010, the bank reported.
In 2008, the CBA balanced currency composition of the portfolio and today 60 percent of the available currency reserves are in the U.S. dollars, while the remaining 40 percent - in euros and pounds sterling.
