About 520 small state enterprises and facilities, vehicles were privatized for nine months of 2010, the State Property Committee said.
About 286 privatized enterprises and facilities are located in Baku, 122 - in other cities and districts. Land plots were privatized in the first half of 2010. About 355 objects are located there.
About 10 joint stock companies were established on the basis of state enterprises in January-September within the privatization. About 25 joint stock companies sold their shares on 41 auctions.
The seven state agencies and joint stock companies (JSC "Meisət Malları", JSC "Bilesuvar Qusculuq", JSC "Qazax Konserv", JSC "Lenkeran Cay-5", JSC "Masallı Konserv", JSC "Siyesen Broyler" and a small hydroelectric power station "Zeyxur") were privatized this year through the investment contest.
The winners of investment tenders invested about 41 million manat in the privatized enterprises.
The four companies (JSC "Gence Deyirman", JSC "Salyan Mehmanxana", JSC "Xırdalan Et" and JSC "Bakı Agırlasdırıcılar"), privatized in the first nine months of this year, have been already transferred to the new owners.
