Gasoline prices in Tajikistan increased by 8.9 percent compared to last month, Asia-plus reported.

The average gasoline prices in November vary between 7.20 and 7.50 somoni compared to October's 6.70 and 7.20 somoni respectively. Tajikistan's antimonopoly committee reported that the prices were fixed and confirmed till early November. The gasoline price rise was scheduled for Nov. 1, but later it was postponed because of the holidays.

The Termez -Kurgan-tube railway branch is out of order. As the result, the country's south territory left without freight including gasoline supplies. This factor may also cause gasoline price rise in the south of Tajikistan.
