Forgery and scams have grown by 26 percent in Iran during the first half of the current Iranian calendar year, which began on March 20, ILNA quoted Colonel Mehrdad Omidi, an official with the Iranian law enforcement force (NAJA), as saying.
Omidi also said that 31 companies involved in pyramid schemes have been identified.
"Some 6,000 individuals indicted with forgery and scamming have been arrested," he added.
