In May the market prices of construction materials in Baku fell by 0.28 percent compared to the previous month, the report of the Property Market Participants organization said on Tuesday.
In comparison with the beginning of the year the prices fell by 3.3 percent on average, while in the analogous period of 2012 the prices decreased by 2.7 percent.
The share of domestic products in the total volume of construction materials was 53.5 percent.
A monitoring was conducted on 37 items and 87 kinds of construction materials.
According to the report, the prices of the imported materials also significantly decreased. This can be explained by the continuing construction season and the large volume of imports.
The prices of 12 items and 37 kinds of construction materials decreased. There was an increase in the prices of only three types of construction materials.
