The President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov has instructed to duly prepare for the harvesting of wheat upcoming in the near future at a special meeting, the TV channel "Turkmenistan" said.
He also demanded "to ensure full readiness of combine harvesters, vehicles, elevators and barns" in this regard.
Turkmenistan plans to collect 1.6 million metric tons of grain in 2015.
Turkmenistan began exporting surplus food grain abroad in 2011.
