Uztransgaz joint stock company obtained net income, calculated according to the national accounting standards in the amount of 1.103 trillion soums (official exchange rate on Nov. 18 is 3138.95 soums/$ 1) in January-September 2016, which is 13.6 percent less than in the same period of 2015, said the company’s report published on http://openinfo.uz/en/ , a single portal of corporate information of Uzbekistan.
Uztransgaz is a subsidiary of the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company.
The report said that the net proceeds from the sale of products stood at 4.810 trillion soums (5.1 percent increase), the gross profit from the sale of products totaled 1.991 trillion soums (17.6 percent decrease), profit from the main activity – 1.415 trillion soums (23.3 percent decrease).
The prime cost of the sold products was 2.818 trillion soums (30.6 percent increase).
Accounts receivable for the reporting period increased by 10.9 percent up to 16.034 trillion soums.
Uztransgaz supervises the transportation, shipping, transit and export of gas in Uzbekistan.
Currently, the total length of gas pipelines in Uzbekistan is 13,600 kilometers.
