"KTZ Express" JSС, subsidiary of Kazakhstan Railways and Russian "RZD Logistics" JSC signed an agreement on mutual development of rail transportation in international traffic within the framework of the 23rd "TransRussia" international exhibition of transport and logistics services and technologies in Moscow, the press service of the Kazakhstan Railways said in a message.
The document is aimed at expanding of the mutually beneficial use of the logistics and forwarding services complex of the two companies to organize rail transportation through Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and other countries of Central Asia.
The agreement also fixes the agreements of the parties in the field of expanding cooperation in attracting transit traffic of the universal rolling stock and containers, attracting a cargo base for the delivery of goods in refrigerated containers across Kazakhstan and Russia, developing tariff policy proposals to stimulate railroad transportation of the two companies.
Nearly 400 companies from 26 countries of the world took part in the "TransRussia" international exhibition, representing transport and logistics services, cargo handling and storage services, as well as financial, information and customs services.
