Lithuanian retail technology company eyes to expand services portfolio in Azerbaijan

Lithuanian banking and retail technology company BS/2 plans to expand services portfolio in Azerbaijan, a source in the company told Trend.

“Azerbaijan is one of the BS/2 priority directions. We seek not only strengthen our position in the local market but became the main player in the field of banking equipment service. This means we plan to expand our services portfolio, where will be not only equipment sales, but also business processes optimization and IT resources maintenance services,” said the company.

The source said BS/2 works in Azerbaijan since 1999 and since 2011 through its subsidiary BSkom which specializes in provision of specialized hardware (ATMs and self-service devices) and software solutions for banks and other financial institutions.

“We‘re exclusive partner of Diebold Nixdorf, a world leader of the banking and trade equipment, in Azerbaijan. Main operations are provided from head office in Vilnius (Lithuania) and BSkom is our local service office, the company has two service centers in Baku and Ganja and offers ATMs and self-service devices‘ maintenance services. We work with main local banks,” said the company.

BS/2 has subsidiaries in Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, and Uzbekistan.

Earlier, BS/2, a member of the Penki kontinentai group, got the prestigious Innovation SPIRIT Banking 2018 award at the Diebold Nixdorf Partner Summit for actively promoting the latest technology solutions for banks and retailers in Azerbaijan.
