Uzbekistan and Sweden discussed cooperation in the field of transport, pharmaceuticals, heavy engineering, metalworking, agriculture, as well as the use of the Swedish experience in the modernization of Uzbek enterprises using the best available technologies, Trend reports referring to the Foreign Trade Ministry of Uzbekistan.
The respective discussions took place between Deputy Foreign Trade Minister of Uzbekistan Sahib Saifnazarov and Ambassador of Sweden with the residence in Stockholm Ingrid Tersman
The sides exchanged views on practical aspects of development of Uzbek-Swedish relations in bilateral and multilateral formats, including in the Uzbekistan-EU permanent dialogue.
It was noted that the ongoing dynamic reforms in Uzbekistan open up new opportunities for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation in the trade, economic, investment and other spheres.
The parties also discussed the possibility of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries in the framework of joint projects and programs.
