A joint meeting of Iran's Bazargan Customs and Gurbulak customs of Turkey was held and the daily acceptance of 450 trucks to cross over the borders was agreed upon by the customs of both countries, Trend reports referring to Iranian Customs Administration' report.
The joint meeting was held at the Bazargan Customs Office.
Considering the increasing trade volume between Iran and Turkey and consequently the increase in export of merchandise from the Bazargan border, both sides agreed to accept the passage of 450 trucks through the borders to prevent prolongation of the lines at the customs.
Among Turkey`s border crossings with Iran, Gurbulak Border Crossing is offering round-the-clock services while Kapikio Border Crossing is witnessing transit of passengers and transport of cargo similarly.
Gurbulak – Bazargan, between Dogubayazit and Tabriz, is the busiest border crossing, open 24/7.
