The famous Latvian company Dzintars plans to return to Uzbek market, Trend reports via Uzbek media.

"We are actively looking for serious distributors in Uzbekistan at the moment, who would be interested in promoting the cosmetic and perfumery products of famous Latvian Dzintars brand in Uzbek market. I am sure that Dzintars products, made exclusively from natural ingredients, have good prospects in the Uzbek market,” Latvian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mihails Popkovs said in an interview.

Dzintars products were in great demand in the USSR and beyond it, but after the Union’s collapse, it gradually ceased to flow into Uzbekistan. Today Dzintars has become the largest manufacturer of bio-cosmetics and perfumery in the Baltic countries and one of the most stable enterprises in Latvia.

Moreover, diplomat states that the embassy is now actively working to expand mutual trade.

Thus, the embassies initiated a visit to Latvia by managers of one of the largest retail chains in Uzbekistan last autumn and at the end of this trip several contracts were signed with leading Latvian producers for the supply of canned fish products to Uzbekistan - Latvian sprat, herring, saury, sardines.

As a result, the range of Latvian fish products in the stores of this network has expanded significantly.
