Azerbaijan’s Sabirabad Canning open joint stock company intends to export more pomegranate juice to the Baltic countries in 2019, the company told Trend.
“Besides pomegranate juice, the company exports pomegranate sauce (narsharab) and pomegranate concentrate to this market,” the company said.
"Our products are in great demand in Estonia and Lithuania,” the company said. “In the future we also intend to export the products to the Latvian market. We do not have specific agreements on supply of the products to this European country yet, but there is demand and supply."
“Today Russia is the main market to which we supply the products,” the company said.
The Sabirabad Canning has been operating since 1982. The Italian and Moldavian equipment has been installed at the plant.
