Turkmenistan’s Yuk Ulag Merkezi national transport and logistics company has received ISO 9001 certificate of conformity, which opens up new opportunities for entering the European market, Trend reports referring to Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET).
The ISO 9001 international certificate opens up new opportunities for the company to enter the European market and increases the level of trust of European companies, the information says. The audit was conducted by CERT International (Slovakia).
Yuk Ulag Merkezi has been operating since 2014 and specializes in the transportation of non-standard, oversized dangerous goods in the CIS, Baltic and Gulf states. One of the promising projects involves cooperation within the Turkmenbashi-Baku-Batumi-Kherson transport and logistics corridor, the UIET notes.
The company’s services include railway forwarding, car rental, organization of domestic transportation, supply of inert materials (gypsum, crushed stone) from turnkey quarries of Turkmenistan, and supply of granulated gas sulfur. Industrial goods, equipment for construction and production, raw materials for agricultural products, products of chemical plants, building materials and metal products can be delivered from Russia, Ukraine and Europe.
