Goods worth $955,000 were exported from Iran's Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province (southwestern Iran) during the first 5 months of the current Iranian year (March 20-August 21, 2020), said Behnam Ahmadi Director General of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province Customs Office, Trend reports citing Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
Ahmadi said that this is an increase of 105 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
The director general stressed that 537 tons of goods were exported from the province during the reporting period. This is an increase of 42 percent compared to the same period last Iranian year.
Ahmadi added that the exported goods were mainly saffron juice, health and cosmetic products, licorice juice, sports shoes, clothes and so on.
"The goods were exported to Germany, France, Switzerland, Iraq, South Africa and Afghanistan," he noted.
