A total of 924,000 tons of various non-oil products worth $431 million were exported from the Iran’s Markazi Province to various countries during the first seven months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020), the Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Jafar Asghari told IRNA, Trend reports.
The deputy chairman emphasized that these products were mainly exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Turkey.
“The exported products from province were mainly aluminum ingots, chemicals, mineral water, various glass materials, polystyrene fibers, fittings, flowers and plants, polyethylene and dairy products and etc.,” he added.
Asghari noted that 5,080 orders were registered related to export of 955 million euro worth of products from the province. So far, 4,620 of these orders have been fulfilled.
There are about 2,800 manufacturing enterprises operating in Iran's Markazi Province. About 150 of them are engaged in export.
