TEHRAN, Iran, April 14. Iran is launching a new housing project worth 1.8 trillion rials (about $43 million) in East Azerbaijan Province, said the Managing Director of East Azerbaijan Housing Foundation Hojjatollah Sarvari, Trend reports citing IRNA.
"This project includes construction of 1,700 residential homes in deprived villages and offering credits for renovation of 2,500 houses," he said.
So far 149,000 residential homes have been renovated in East Azerbaijan Province and the construction of 750 houses have been remodeled and retrofitted in the last Iranian year (started March 21, 2021).
