A solemn opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani-Russian business forum will be held at Gulustan Palace of Baku on 21 February with the participation of the Presidents of Azerbaijan and Russia, Ilham Aliyev and Vladimir Putin, Gennadiy Tretyakov, the Executive Director of the Azerbaijani-Russian Chamber of Business Cooperation, told Trend.
According to Tretyakov, in compliance with the initial program, the forum will continue at roundtables and seminars, which will be held at the Business-Center, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Exhibition Complex on 22-23 February.
The program of the forum is currently under the coordination, he noted. According to the executive director, around 500 business and representatives from the businessmen circles of Azerbaijan and Russia are expected to participate in the forum.
According to Tretyakov, during the four the businessmen are expected to set up discussion son the perspectives of trade-economic cooperation, opportunities for the establishment of new business ties. It is also planned to ink an Agreement on exhibition-fair activities between the State Joint-Stock Company All-Russian exhibition Center and the Azerbaijani-Russian Chamber of Business Cooperation.
