В"Next year it doesnt make sense to reduce tax rates as they have already been changed in 2006В", - minister said. This year tax rates reduced as follows: on profit tax - from 24% to 22%, on income tax amount exposed to maximum 35% rate rose from 600 to 1k AZN.
VAT-related measures will also be taken. В"We are going to take some measures to toughen functional administration of this tax, which may be promoted through making some revisions and amendments to the regulatoryВ", - minister said.
Any changes in Tax Code shall be preliminarily discussed with Ministry of Finance and other state agencies. Earlier, revisions and amendments to tax legislation were suggested to separate from those in budgetary package to pass in the parliament just in October or November.
