The sixth session of Trustees Council with Azerbaijan Fund for Promotion of Investments and Export (AZPROMO) was held June 28. Trend reports, in his welcoming speech Minister of Economic Development Heydar Babayev highly appraised the funds activity and all business-forums, workshops and other events the fund arranged. Chingiz Asadullayev, Chairman of Supervisory Board, AZPROMO, announced the proposals included in session agenda and they were anonymously approved upon discussion. According to the decision made, members of Trustees Council were divided by two groups, permanent members and honorary guests. Permanent members include representatives of private sector and government.
In the course of the session it was also decided to enlarge the list of AZPROMO trustees. Now their number exceeds 70. Up to date there were 59 members in the Trustees Council, from which 6 joined the council at the previous session, January 17, 2006. Asadullayev said AZPROMO is open for all who set the aim to promote and encourage export and investments.
