At the moment, physical and juridical persons participating in the process of passenger transportation have the opportunity to renew the transport means, which are in their balance, the transport minister of Azerbaijan Ziya Mammadov told, Trend reports. The renewal of the transport means needs for the promotion of the quality of passenger transportation service in Baku. at the moment, this indicator is at a high level, told ministers.
Earlier, according to the order of the president, the transport department of the Executive Power of Baku city was liquidated and transferred to the Transport Ministry. The Transport Ministry of Azerbaijan has created a commission which will be involved in the acceptance within the order of the president related with the liquidation.
As stated in the order, it was made to avoid the repeat management, as well as hold reforms. The reforms are mainly realized so that a discipline is created in the city transport, a certification system of transport means is held, the flow of passengers is studied and the transport system is at a modern level.
