A Round Table Held by WB within Preparation of a State Programme on Obtaining Education by Azerbaijani Youth Abroad

The Azerbaijan Economic Development Ministry and the Baku Office of the World Bank (WB) held a round table discussion on the topic Human Capital for Economy of Knowledge, Economic Development, and Ability to Compete in Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to a message spread by the Ministry. The arrangement was held with the participation of representatives of a working group for preparing the State Programme on Obtaining Education by Azerbaijani Youth Abroad.

Rosita Van Meel, an expert of the Human Development Department of WB, gave a presentation on the topic Labor market and Employment, Principles, Possibilities, Justice, Appraisal, Financial Duration, Integrals of the Bases if Economy of Knowledge and Ability to Compete in Education

Alexander Rosmiszovsky, Professor of the Syracuse University informed participants of the event about the potential of the higher education institute he represents, about the education abroad, about the care for foreign students in the University.

Sevindj Hassanova, Deputy Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister, told about the work carried out to prepare the Programme, and said that such meetings would be very useful.

During the round table, the State Programme on Obtaining Education by Azerbaijani Youth Abroad, as well as its importance in providing the economy of the country with high skilled national professionals was discussed.
