Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismaylova / The co-founders of joint Azer-Asiya insurance company will hold a meeting on 28 May, the president of the company, Gambar Suvanverdiyev, said on 18 May. The change of legal position of the company into an open joint-stock company will be discussed at the meeting.
The Iranian co-founders of Azer-Asiya are expected to pay a visit to Baku, during which the documents will be signed and the company will change the form of property.
The president of the company noted that the change of property form would not affect the activities of the company.
Azer-Asiya was founded by the Iranian Asiya S?gorta (49%) and the Azerbaijani state AzerS?gorta insurance companies (51%) in 1997.
The joint budget of the company made up AZN 2mln for 1 May, the statutory capital AZN 714,000. Azer-Asiya provides services on 30 insurance forms, with 4 of them being obligatory.
