Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr I. Khalilova / Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development registered eight grant agreements with commercial juridical persons by 2006. The registration was held in compliance with the Regulations on Registration of Grant Agreements.
The total amount of the funds allocated in accordance with the agreements made up $296,800 (AZN 255,300). The funds were utilized for implementation of arrangements on micro-crediting of displaced persons, translation and production of culture and language-related sources, juridical assistance and information services to the persons without citizenship, development of leasing, services in rural areas.
Two commercial organizations will be fined in accordance with the Administrative Violations Code for they did not submit the copies of grant agreements to the Ministry.
