Azerbaijan, Baku / corr Trend S.Aliyev / Around $10bln has been spent on the construction work under the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) Full Field Development Project, Bruce Luberskiy, BP Vice President on the construction projects said on 23 November.
Expenses amounted to $6.580bln under the Azeri project, and $3.30bln under the Deepwater Gunashli project In 2007 expenses comprised $100mln under the Azeri project and $950mln under the Deepwater Gunashli project.
At present almost all construction work on these projects is completed. By mid-2008 the work at the Deepwater Gunashli field will be complete and the platforms installed there will be commissioned. Furthermore, work on the expansion of the Sangachal terminal for admission of oil from the ACG is almost complete.
