$604mln was spent with the companies with Azerbaijani capital, $43mln with state enterprises, $450mln with joint ventures, $111mln with small-scale and middle-scale enterprises, $891mln with Azerbaijan-based foreign companies.
In 2007, the number of BP's partner companies with Azerbaijani capital amounted to 497, state companies - 52, joint ventures - 27, small scale and middle scale enterprises - 393.
The number of Azerbaijani citizens working directly at BP is 1,857. The number of Azerbaijani citizens engaged in construction made up 2,700.
