Aktau trade port downs shipment of oil-loading freights

Aktau international sea trade port shipped over 768,300 tons of oil-loading freights in February compared to 958,800 tons in January, sea trade port said.  The amount of shipped oil-loading freights in February is below the forecasted amount by 17.1 percent

In 2009, Aktau international sea trade port shipped over 11.3 million tons of oil-loading freights compared to nearly nine million tons in 2008.

In Febraury, 228,000 tons of dry freights were shipped compared to 219,100 tons in January. Roughly 2.6 million tons of dry freights were shipped in 2009 compared to 2.11million tons in 2008.

Aktau international sea trade port shipped 1,01 million tons of dry and oil-loading freights  in Febraury compared to 1,18 million tons in January.

Total volume of Aktau international sea trade port's transportation hit 14 million tons of dry and oil-loading freights in 2009. This index hit 11 million tons in 2008.

Roughly 2077 ships operated in Aktau port in February.

Presently, there are six international sea ports - Baku (Azerbaijan), Astrakhan (Russia), Turkmenbashi (Turkmenistan), Aktau (Kazakhstan), Enzeli and Neka (Iran) in the Caspian Sea.
