SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has developed and tested software in accordance with international standards to implement procedures for recruitment, Vice President of SOCAR on staff, regime and information technologies Khalik Mammadov said on Saturday during the workshop meeting to discuss procedures for recruitment.

SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) has developed and tested software in accordance with international standards to implement procedures for recruitment, Vice President of SOCAR on staff, regime and information technologies Khalik Mammadov said on Saturday during the workshop meeting to discuss procedures for recruitment.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of various departments and enterprises of SOCAR.
At the meeting, Mammadov said that in order to eliminate the subjective factors in recruitment, SOCAR has established a Human Resources Department. It was also stated that a Careers section has been created on the website of the State Oil Company. The basic principles of human resources department of the company are statehood and patriotism, legitimacy and integrity, transparency and professionalism, objectivity and accuracy.

As noted at the meeting, the recruitment in the company is carried out only on the basis of announcements about the presence of vacancies and the presence of applications by people only after checking their abilities. Employment in the SOCAR envisages primary selection, testing and interview.
During the meeting, the head of the SOCAR human resources department Asif Bekirli demonstrated to participants a form of vacancies in the departments and enterprises of SOCAR and the online application form, which must be filled in by those who want to get a job at the State Oil Company.
