The consolidated profit of the National Oil And Gas company of Kazakhstan KazMunaiGas amounted to 98 billion tenge (tender rate as of April 5 hit 148.11 tenge to $ 1) in January-February 2012, which exceeds the target figure by 1.8 times, head of JSC Sovereign Wealth Fund "Samruk-Kazyna" Umirzak Shukeyev told journalists on Thursday.
Oil and gas condensate production during the reporting period amounted to 3.5 million tons.
A slight decrease in production volumes - by 3 percent is due to abnormal weather conditions. Oil refining totaled 2.6 million tons.
Transportation of oil via main pipelines hit 10.6 million tons, overfulfillment of plan - 131,000 tons.
Gas transportation amounted to 18.6 billion cubic meters. The plan was overfulfilled by nearly one billion cubic meters, mainly due to growth in transit volumes.
