Kazakhstan is developing a draft law concept on controlling and monitoring energy facilities work

Kazakhstan is developing a draft law concept on controlling and monitoring energy facilities work, Kazakh Prime minister's web site quoted Kazakh Industry and New Technologies Minister Asset Issekeshev as saying.

"The Ministry develops a draft law concept on creation of specific and effective system on energy facilities work control and monitoring," Issekeshev said at the government session.
The document envisages introduction of liabilities of energy producing organizations for not concluding of mandatory insurance contracts of civil liabilities for accidents.

According to the Minister, the Government adopted 10 of 24 developed regulatory norms on electrical energy industry.

In particular, the law "On electrical energy" and the Code on administrative violations were amended for stable work on energy industry preparing for the heating season. According to these amendments, energy enterprises must have a readiness certificate for the heating season.
