Number of gas consumers increased in Turkmenistan’s Lebap region

The number of families, using natural gas has increased by almost 2,000 in Turkmenistan’s Lebap region, Trend reports with reference to Turkmenportal information portal.

Currently, the total length of gas pipelines of different pressures in the region exceeds 8,400 kilometers.

More than 450 gas distribution systems operate in the region to provide an uninterrupted gas supply to the population.

Gas is supplied to the population at preferential prices.

As reported, currently, several regions of Turkmenistan are working to maintain gas pipelines and uninterrupted gas supply in the winter season.

Turkmenistan has exceeded expectations of oil and gas condensate production from January through August 2020.

The estimates of oil and gas condensate production were exceeded by 2.2 percent, natural and associated gas - by 1.2 percent, gas exports – by 0.8 percent, oil refining – by 3.1 percent, gasoline production – by 5.6 percent, diesel fuel production – by 6.3 percent, kerosene production – 6.9.

The country is also improving the activities of oil and gas companies, as well as ensuring stable growth of production and economic indicators in the country.
