About 29 percent of the forecast indicators for the production of natural gas in Uzbekistan will account for Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, Trend reports with reference to the press service of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
Uzbekneftegaz reports that 1,395 million cubic meters of natural gas and 28,200 tons of condensate were produced from the fields of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department in January 2021.
According to the information, to date, there are 1,453 wells at 42 oil and gas fields of the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department, of which 593 are producing hydrocarbons. The produced gas after running for its preparation through 36 units at 11 compressor stations and 14 units is transferred to the Mubarek Gas Processing Plant.
It is noted that the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Directorate is the largest production enterprise among those working in the field of natural gas production in Uzbekistan.
It is expected that this year, about 29 percent of forecast indicators for natural gas production and 20.6 percent of indicators for gas condensate production in Uzbekistan will fall on this department.
Uzbekneftegaz noted that the current reserves of the management fields amount to 310.7 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 19.4 million tons of liquid hydrocarbons.
In addition, it is planned to increase the volume of natural gas production up to 16.8 billion cubic meters, gas condensate - up to 302,900 tons by the end of the year.
Also, as a result of the geological and technical measures, 53 new wells will be drilled, of which 25 will be put into operation at the expense of the own funds of Uzbekneftegaz.
