The indicators of the oil and gas sector of Turkmenistan increased from January through April 2021, Trend reports with reference to the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
Thus, during the reporting period, the country exceeded the plan for the production of gasoline by 9 percent, diesel fuel by 0.8 percent, polypropylene by 5.5 percent, lubricating oils by 0.1 percent, liquefied gas - by 7.1 percent, natural and associated gas production-by 14.6 percent.
In addition, the plan for gas exports was exceeded by 19.3 percent, and the development of investments by 9.1 percent.
Turkmenistan produced more than 14.5 billion cubic meters of natural and associated gas from January through February 2021, which is more than the same period last year by 7.4 percent.
Gas exports exceeded 6.7 billion cubic meters, an increase of 9 percent. Thus, the main volume of raw materials was delivered to China.
In the country, the volume of oil production from January through February 2021 amounted to about 1.5 million tons.
