The Mazhilis [lower house] of the Parliament of Kazakhstan considered a bill on establishing supply of oil products to Armenia, Trend reports with reference to the Kazakh Energy Ministry.

The videoconference meetings were held on March 15, 2022 in the Committee on Social and Cultural Development and in the Committee on Legislation and Judicial and Legal Reform of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The bill “On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Armenia on trade and economic cooperation in supply of oil products to the Republic of Armenia” was discussed during the videoconference meetings.

The agreement was approved in the above-mentioned committees upon the unanimous decision following the meetings.

The work will continue in this sphere. The agreement will be discussed in other committees of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
