BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 13. Iran's gas condensate production currently stands at 850,000-860,000 barrels per day, Iranian Oil Minister Javad Owji said, Trend reports citing Shana News Agency.
He made the remark at an event related to the sale of certificates of deposit for crude oil and gas condensate at Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX) in Tehran.
The minister noted that along with the production, export of gas condensate is carried out appropriately.
Owji added that when the current government came to power in Iran (August 2021), there were 87 million barrels of gas condensate in onshore and offshore storages in the country and there was no more storage space.
“Currently, gas condensate in Iran's storages is less than 20 million barrels,” he said.
As reported, Iran started the sale of deposit certificates for crude oil and gas condensate at the IRENEX on March 12.
