The Baku Oil Refineries, parts of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), former Azerneftyanacag and Azerneftyag, produced 538,800 tons of various oil products during January 2006, which is 1,000 tons more of the same period of 2005.
As the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee told Trend , particularly, production of gasoline grew by 10,3 %, kerosene- by 11,9% diesel fuel by 8,6, lubricating oil by 88,2 % in January 2006 as compared to the same period of the last year. Reducing of naphta - by 26,8 %, mazut- by 6,7% and oil bitumen by 30,8% is observed this year.
