PSL Energy Services Ltd, a Scottish company, has been awarded a contract for organization of periodic treatment and check up of pipelines in the territory of Sangacal terminal for BP Exploration, PSL Energy Services told Trend.
The 3-year contract with the budget of $2-3m covers the logistics management of pig (special facilities) comprised of 150 pigs for pipe treatment, coordination of activities of the devices in the Sangachal terminal, subsea pipelines of 5 offshore platforms, the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan and the Baku-Supsa pipeline.
The work under the contract also envisages refurbishment and rehabilitation of pigs in Baku, where the company holds 200 employees, the document underlined.
