The Azerbaijan economic Development Ministry has not held neither negotiations nor discussions with Russian JSC EES Rossiyi (United Electric Power Systems of Russia) concerning handing over the management of the energy networks of the country, particularly the Baku and Sumgayit Electric Power Distribution Network, Heydar Babayev, Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister said today, Trend reports.
RJSC EES Rossiyi has a great experience and nobody could dispute it. The Company just gave a presentation. I got acquainted with these documents, and if it was necessary, the corresponding offices and agencies of Azerbaijan will invite the Russian Company to hold a presentation in the country. I think that the presentation does not require neither any responsibilities nor obligations. It would be useful for everybody to cooperate with such an energy giant, and I think the possible cooperation will be of a mutual interest, said the Minister.
A representative office of RJSC EES Rossiyi is expected to be open to expand its business in the country.
