Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Azercell Telecom, an Azerbaijani mobile operator has launched new operator code - 051 Dynamic growth of the company and increasing number of its subscribers made the release of additional numbers inevitable.
No changes will be applied for dialing the numbers of other local mobile operators and landline numbers.
The subscribers with code 051 will dial the ten-digit number for all on-network calls and using SMS and MMS services
While dialing to the numbers with 051 code: + number. SMS, MMS and calls are available within the country
While dialing to other local mobile operators: operator's code + number
While dialing to landlines: code of a city/region + number
Presently, Azercell Telecom is the biggest GSM operator of Azerbaijan and has over 2.8mln subscribers.
