Azerbaijan, Baku, 4 June / Trend / The Union of Free Consumers has launched the website ( http://www.consumer-aib.com/ ) to protect the consumers rights, within the framework of the small-scale grants program implemented by the Azerbaijani Communication and IT Ministry jointly with the World Bank..
"This was the third project developed within the framework of the small-scale grants," the Communication Minsitry reported.
The first two prrojects were- "Electron government for pupils" and "Professional education with use of IT", which were implemented by the Public Young Democratic Reformators Association and Charity to children organization.
Seven winners were defined as a result of the grant contest held on the topic "Information society -new stage of development".
The proposals to acquire grants covered introduction of new IT and reforms in the sphere of education and health, transparency of the budget and anti corruption, integration of youth to the public community, social protection, as well as the issues regarding poverty reduction and human rights protection.
