Azerbaijan, Baku, 22 October/ Trend , corr S. Babayeva/ State Radio Frequency Department of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan will establish a laboratory to check parameters of frequency-beam radio electronic devices imported to the country, Aflatun Mammadov, head of the Department said.
"There is a need for that kind of laboratory as Azerbaijan lacks equipment to check radio electronic devices," Mammadov said.
It will be up-to-date laboratory registering all electronic devices, checking up quality of import electronic equipment and their conformance to international standards.
The cost of the project has not been evaluated yet.
State Radio Frequency Department is engaged in distribution, operation and control of frequencies of all companies and organizations within the country's territory.
