Azericard processing center will offer a new version of mobile banking by late 2010, Jahangir Mammadov, AzeriCard Processing Center Business Development Department Head, told Trend.
He said that a new version will be rather expanded and convenient. It will allow using additional services without replacing Sim card.
"Today, subscribers, whose SIM-cards are not registered, face with obstacles in using this service. This problem will be completely eliminated in the new version. The new version of mobile banking will provide services in the networks of Azerbaijani mobile operators", he said.
A mobile banking service allows to check account online around the clock, draw out reports on account transactions, pay bills for electricity, mobile and fixed communications, Internet services, transfer money from card to card, pay for the purchase of an electronic ticket and receive SMS-notification on each transaction (withdrawal or receipt of funds on the account).
Today, mobile banking services are rendered by the International Bank of Azerbaijan, Bank Respublika, AGBank, AtaBank, Bank of Azerbaijan, Bank Standard, Nikoil Bank, ParaBank, Rabita Bank and Xalq Bank.
Today, one should buy or replace SIM-card with "MobilBank" in Azercell Telekom's offices to use the service. Afterwards, one should contact the office of the bank, which gave the card, and fill out a form. The bank will provide instructions to use "MobilBank" and connect to the service.
All transmitted information is encrypted in "MobilBank" system. The owner of the number forms an individual PIN-code. A password known only to the user is used for the identification.
