Azerbaijan’s IT company launches pilot project for recycling cartridges

The Azerbaijani IT company CRM Group has launched a pilot project for recycling of the used printing cartridges, the company told Trend Aug.18.

According to the company, general test works, as well as pilot assembly of IT equipment, are already underway.

The recycling process of cartridges complies with ISO-2001, ISO-14001 and ISO-9001 standards.

CRM Group’s plans include the launch of the production of cartridges for all types of printing devices of different vendors, which will initially be supplied to the domestic and later exported to the markets of the countries of the region.

The company's production line is based in the Pirallakhi Technopark. Scientific laboratory and innovation center are also based in the area allotted for the company.

The company's long-term plans include the assembly of smartphones, laptops and tablet computers under the brand "Made in Azerbaijan".

According to the company, CRM Group had acquired the patented rights for the deployment of the assembly for about 10 different types of IT products.
