The number of subscribers of Bakcell, the operator of mobile communication, will double till late 2006, Trend reports quoting Martin Quik, the Director General of the Company, as saying to journalists.
According to Quik, the number of users rose from 300,000 to 700,000 over the last 3 months. It will increase up to 1.4m till late 2006.
In his opinion, there is considerable development of business in Azerbaijan and the Company expands its opportunities thorough the country in this regard.
Bakcell functions in Azerbaijan from 1994 and one of the first foreign investors in the country.
